Windows gui for informix




















Informix Server Administrator is included on an extra CD. I use the IGS tool. It works great! And we got about 3 months worth of evaluation passwords before we bought, which in this new world of 2 week evaluation software, was very nice Can you share the link of web site? I got it by buying Data Director for Web, but my guess is it's a bundled freebie. Ask your sales person how to get it. For admin purposes, you might want to look at the new Informix Server Administrator shipping with engine 9.

I think the problem is Windows I've had people tell me that it installs with the client sdk, and other apps, but no luck.

I cannot install an informix server so it can install the freebie tools , because the install quits when it detects a non-NTFS filesystem. Improve this question. What are you wanting to do in this GUI client? Manage the database server or write queries? That would help in answering the question. For the record: Stackexchange as a network of sites has a policy of "no shopping questions" and so I'm going to encourage that here as well. Had the question been "what are the pitfalls of using these three products for Informix on Windows to access my data" then that would be a perfectly cromulent question.
